The church Eglise Notre Dame de Toute Grâce
is a masterpiece of modern Art sacré and has been
decorated by many grand masters from the middle
of the twentieth century.
The church on the plateau d'Assy is a key
monument in the revival movement of art sacré
in the 20th century, and was founded by canon
Devémy for the sanatorium's population housed
on Passy's higher plains as from the 1920s.
The monument, designed by Maurice Novarina evokes
the robust Savoyard mountain chalets constructed
from stone and wood. The architect finished off
the building with a bell placed 28 m above the
ground which directs one's gaze to it and then
over to the Fiz mountains beyond.
