Summer hikes

Discover one of the jewels of the Passy nature reserve: the Lac d'Anterne overlooked by the Muraille des Fiz.

A long but easy hike, first along the passable track and then along the narrower path that winds up to the Col d'Anterne before dropping down to the lake. Several variants are possible via Les Argentières or La Chorde and Lac de Pormenaz for those who would like to venture on more technical routes.
You can also continue a few kilometres to the Alfred Wills refuge for a snack or to spend a night in the heart of the Passy and Sixt-Passy nature reserves before heading back. You can then admire the sunrise over the Fiz from the foot of these immense cliffs.

Lac d'Anterne is surrounded by wetlands which are precious for biodiversity. At its approach, as in the whole nature reserve, stay on the paths. Tadpoles, frogs, newts and dragonflies thank you!

The Passy nature reserve is a protected and regulated area. Dogs, even if kept on a leash, are forbidden, as are motor vehicle traffic, fires and overflights, particularly by drones. Bivouacking is tolerated from 7pm to 9am.
