Painter and sculptor, Louis Chabaud settled in Praz in 1972 in this authentic farm of the 19th century. In 1987 he established his workshop and then his exhibition. The farm becomes a tasty mixture of Savoyard authenticity and unusual!

He sculpts, paints, draws, searches, tents and mixes. His work is imaginative, colourful and renewed. President and initiator of Praz-les-arts (cultural association on singular art), he is at the origin of the first festival "out of the norm" in Praz sur Arly, and it is also thanks to him that this art becomes a part of the Praline culture. One could almost speak of culture shock, but the Pralins have learned to rub shoulders with the unusual thanks to it. He is even called "the Pope of singular art"!

At the base bathed in impressionism, he plunges rather quickly into singular art. Driven by an imperious need for inner expression, he uses techniques and often original means. He creates for receivers, spectators, whom he imagines that his creation looks at and concerns them. We love or hate, but the point is to challenge.
In 2012 he participated in the creation of the artistic mini-golf of the village in collaboration with the Municipality.

It has definitively cut through with the decor of the traditional mountain village, and has inscribed art "out of the norm" in our local heritage.
