A south facing location and an excellent climate are one of the main reasons of the creation of those big architectural boats – ex sanatoriums – on the top of Passy. A great example of the artistic and architectural techniques of the 20th century, those buildings have had a great impact on our habitat and the relationship between mankind and the environment. From cottages to the streamlined building, the Plateau d’Assy offers a complete range of solutions created during the inter-war years. 5 sanatoriums have their own chapels which decor explain the researches made to create the great holy manifest that is the church Notre-Dame-de-Toute-Grâce.
