In 1973, Passy hold a great exhibition – Sculptures in the Mountains – Poets from Space. Inspired by the places and their history, the project, created by the poet Jean-Pierre Lemesle, gathered artwork from the most famous artists of modern sculptures. Passy has kept 5 artworks from the exhibition and laster bought other sculptures. During the years 1980s the sculptures were put between the exit of the motorway A40 and the buttress of the Fiz mountain range in order to offer a visit of the hillside of Passy before reaching the exceptionnal natural belvedere of Plaine-Joux.
