Lance-moi en l'air is a choreographed circus piece full of contact, in which bodies slide over each other, projecting or falling in a single burst of confidence and sensuality.
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, has just lost his father, the King. His ghost tells his son that his own brother is the murderer. Hamlet will do everything in his power to prove the new king's guilt, and to succeed in this grave mission, he will pretend to be mad... Hamlet is Shakespeare's longest tragedy, one of his best-known, and surely his bloodiest, with its betrayal, murder and madness... but Les Batteurs de Pavés have been telling it since 2010, in the street, for and with misbehaving children and adults who happen to be passing by! Concept and performance: Emmanuel Moser and Laurent Lecoultre
Humanity emerges from the alternation between strength and weakness, and acrobatic prowess speaks of the body of the other. The one who throws himself, the one who propels, the one who spurts, the one who is thrown into the air, the one who cushions the shock, the one on whom one leans, who catches or throws, the one who offers his whole body.
A game of "run away from me, I'll run away from you" that speaks of life, its encounters, conflicts, closeness and betrayals. Lance-moi en l'air speaks to young and old alike through the instinctive energies it communicates.
