Something for everyone!

With 12 kilometres of marked runs, the Passy Plaine-Joux ski resort has 3 green runs, 3 blue runs, 3 red runs and 1 black run, allowing all skiers to enjoy the pleasures of the slopes.

Large beginners’ areas and gentle slopes provide the ideal environment for novice skiers to learn with confidence. Experienced instructors are on hand to give lessons and guide beginners through their first steps on the snow, making learning to ski a safe and enjoyable experience.

Intermediate skiers will find a varied range of slopes, allowing them to perfect their skills while enjoying spectacular views of the snow-covered peaks. The well-maintained pistes offer the perfect balance of challenge and fun, creating an atmosphere conducive to progression.

For experienced skiers looking for a thrill, Passy Plaine-Joux offers a magnificent black run that is more technical and demanding. The Lutins area: a paradise for young skiers!

Located on the snow front of the Passy Plaine-Joux ski area, the Espace Lutins is entirely dedicated to children, giving them a gentle introduction to the first sensations of skiing and snowboarding. With a snow carpet, a slope with modules and a play area, budding skiers can learn to master the snowplough, first turns and trajectories in complete safety. Just a stone’s throw away, the Maison des Lutins, set in a charming wooded chalet, is the ideal place to rest in the warmth between turns, have a snack or play with friends.

Tobogganing and snowtubing track

On your marks, get set! Slide on! On the snow front of the Passy Plaine-Joux ski area, a unique experience awaits thrill-seekers: snowtubing! Equipped with an inflatable buoy, snowtubing enthusiasts set off at full speed down a specially-designed slope. Twirling in all directions, the machine launched at several kilometres an hour delivers an incredible adrenalin rush. Entirely safe and signposted, snowtubing is a fun way to enjoy the ski area in a different way. And for those who prefer a gentler sensation, there’s a free toboggan run nearby where young and old can slide down in complete safety.

 

Ski touring routes

Starting from the Passy Plaine-Joux ski area, ski tourers will find two lovely itineraries winding through snow-covered fir trees and immaculate mountain pastures. Fully signposted and safe, they are both perfect for beginners looking for a gentle introduction to this sport. Returning via the pistes allows you to savour the pleasures of the off-piste ascent and to descend with complete confidence on the marked runs. With strategic viewpoints, these two free-access itineraries invite skiers to take a contemplative break while admiring the surrounding Alpine scenery.

 

Nordic skiing in Passy

Passy Plaine-Joux has plenty to offer Nordic skiing fans! Nestled in the heart of the ski area, two charming 2-kilometre loops await cross-country skiers. Carefully criss-crossed by snow-covered undergrowth and immaculate fields, these two free-access trails are an invitation to explore. Nestled in an exceptional setting beneath the Fiz massif and facing Mont-Blanc, the Passy Plaine-Joux site is ideal for all levels of skier, whether you’re a fan of skating or a loyal alternative skier.

 

Snowshoeing routes

For snowshoe enthusiasts, Passy Plaine-Joux offers two routes for exploring the snow-covered wonders surrounding the resort in complete peace and quiet. Carefully mapped out and safe, these two routes guide walkers through breathtaking scenery. Beginners can take their first steps in complete safety, amidst unspoilt nature, snow-covered forests and majestic panoramas.
